I often make special trips down from Reno to this location, closest legit dumplings to us up here in the desert. Love this place, fresh food and friendly staff. My family and I always order way too much food and leave absolutely stuffed to the brim, our advice is bring your stretchy pants!!! Never had a single thing here that isn't great and we always stop off at the Davis location as well to charge the car and get lunch. We will absolutely be back soon enough to drop a new review and this time we will take a breath to get some awesome pictures before devouring everything in sight!!!! The smell of the food hitting the table makes it hard to remember that you even bright a phone with you....

Strange fact Yang Kee Dumpling is literally across the street from Uncle Dumpling. Yang Kee is larger and has a patio as well. Prices were reasonable and portions were good. My pork soup dumplings did not rupture every time I picked them up with chopsticks like Uncle Dumplings thin skinned XLB. The sautéed long beans were high quality comparable to JTD's flawless garlic green beans. The beef chow fun was tasty and had an excellent assortment of veggies. The chive dumplings were hardy and had good flavor. Overall I think Yang Kee shares 2nd place in my XLB world with Yi Long in Natomas. Number one still belongs to JTD. The steamed ube bao are also a delicious treat. Yang Kee is a great dumpling spot and worth a trip just to try them.

I've been traveling to China for over thirty years, always get dim sum when I'm I Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc. This time a literally the best dim sum I've ever had in America! I took my Chinese colleagues from Nanjing in December and even they were impressed. This place is legit.

Cutest dumpling place! Well worth the wait. The food is so flavorful. Tried the HK style chow mien! It was crispy and crunchy with gravy on top. Soo good! Everything we ordered was delicious. I was afraid to try the won ton in chili sauce but I'm so happy I did. It wasn't spicy at all, just lots of good flavor. I will definitely come again and tell my friends and family.

Super yummy food, some of the best dumplings I've had. We got the soup dumplings and the noodle soup, 10/10 recommend both. The service was great everyone was polite and attentive even though it was close to closing they didn't make my party feel rushed. Really classy yet relaxing atmosphere. Definitely coming again.

Went on a weekend and didn't wait but a few minutes. Food was Phenomenal! Had a variety of dumplings and each was better than the last.

10/10!!! Had a reservation and was seated immediately, 5:30 on a Friday. All the food was amazing, Bao buns, garlic green beans, chow fun, honey walnut prawns and the wontons in the sauce were my favorite. Secret sauce mixture: ask for fresh ginger. Combine ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil. Use this concoction for dipping. Will definitely be coming back soon. Similar to Din Tai Fung... just missing chocolate dim sum ¨

Yang Kee is the only Chinese restaurant in Sac town that has been consistent and saitiating for me - this has been reinforced with 3 visits. Mapo Tofu - minced pork with spicy sauce with silky soft tofu cubes. Add some green onions on top and you're golden. Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs - light and crispy battered crust over ultra tender ahort rib meat. You could easily eat it like fried chicken! The light tang of the salt/pepper seasoning and non-greasiness of the fluffy crunch is perfect! Wontons in spicy sauce - anyone familiar with the famous Din Tai Fung spicy wontons can relate to this dish. The wonton wrap is thin, meat filing is just right and the sauce isn't overwhelming. Pair with a side of ginger and soy sauce/vinegar dip and you have an amazing appetizer. Crab pork Soup Dumplings - very few places can pull off good soup dumplings and Yang Kee figured it out! When you bite into this dumpling, a flood of warm soup floods your mouth accompanied by fresh steamed crab and pork. Make sure you do not eat it right away; let it sit there for about five minutes so it can settle and cool down some so you don't burn the insides of your mouth. Chow mein - Hong Kong style chow mein and any of their varieties here is probably the best cooked I have ever eaten. I ordered the plain version with beef and even that was incredible! The cleanliness, fast service and turnaound on orders add to the joy. Finish off with Portguese egg tarts, so flaky and not too sweet!

Yang Kee was easy to get to, right off the main road on the corner spot with plenty of parking. We went on a Friday afternoon and they were pretty much filled, but the wait wasn't bad and you can watch dumplings being made through the large glass window! The soup dumplings delicious and hearty. The BBQ pork Bao were fluffy and fresh and the noodle dish was fire. Def recommend if you're in the area!
